Marble Fellows are gifted in the counseling field and are uniquely equipped to lead the brief intensive Christian counseling groups held at Marble Retreat. Having their own practices and ministries around the country, the Fellows lead one or two sessions a year at the Marble Retreat campus in the spectacular mountains of Colorado
All Marble Fellows have professional Christian counseling credentials and have trained in our spiritually-sensitive approach to brief intensive therapy. We have come to believe that it is God who convenes each group who shares the 8 days together. The Marble Fellows are part of this Providence, offering their own unique gifts to their therapy groups.

sional service, Don increasingly felt God's leading to work with marriages. This "specialization" is not only evidenced by his graduate training in marriage and family therapy, but also in his wide variety of professional activities. Don has authored nine books dealing with various marriage issues: The Drifting Marriage (1988); When the One You Love Wants to Leave (1989); The Spiritually Intimate Marriage (1991); A Change of Heart: Restoring Hope in Marriage (1993); Love Secured (1994); Surviving Betrayal: Counseling an Adulterous Marriage (1995); I Love You-Talk to Me! (1996); Talk Your Way to an Intimate Marriage (2000) and Living in a Glass House: Surviving the Scrutiny of Ministry and Marriage (2002; and LoveDecisions (2006).
In 1993, Don joined the graduate psychology faculty at Trevecca Nazarene University where he established a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) degree program that he continues to direct. He recently co-wrote and implemented a PhD in Clinical Counseling program at Trevecca. Though now involved with the training of others, Don states that his "true passion still continues to be in working directly with couples." In recent years, this desire for working with couples has sharpened with growing concern for the unique challenges of clergy marriages.
In addition to academic responsibilities, Don maintains a private therapy practice, is in demand as a speaker at professional conferences, is a frequent guest on both radio and television, and with Jan, conducts marriage enrichment weekends in churches throughout the country. Don is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is both a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Jan Harvey, received her BS from Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City and her MMFT (Master of Marriage and Family Therapy) degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. Jan's professional counseling experience began in social work in a variety of public and private settings. She has had professional focus in infertility and adoption, career counseling, and couples’ therapy.
Jan maintains an active Marriage and Family therapy practice in the Nashville area (Brentwood). She particularly enjoys restsoring couples in marital distress, and also in preventative ways through premarital and pre-engagement counseling. She often presents at professional conferences, is a media guest and with Don, hosts marriage weekends and marriage intensives. www.harveytherapy.com
