| Our lodge hosts and support
staff work hard to make sure every detail is worked out before
you arrive -- and your Christian counseling stay goes smoothly
once you're here. |
Henry
and Eva Villarreal, Host Couple
A visit to Marble Retreat means
being cared for by Henry and Eva! Our host couple is indispensable
and integral to your positive and comfortable experience.
Whether cooking a tasty gourmet meal, building an inviting
fire in the fireplace or warming up the hot-tub, their
number one goal is to enhance your retreat. Henry is our “Mr. Fixit,” creative
gardener, fantastic snow plower, fishing guide par excellence
as well as a whiz in the kitchen. Eva puts out such scrumptious
and visually appealing meals that we sometimes have a hard
time getting Christian counseling groups to leave! But
what you will discover is that the loving and prayerful
hospitality and pampering given by these two servant hearts
surpass all their gifts and talents. Henry and Eva help
to make this a safe haven for hurting clergy.

degree from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, and is continually
updating her office skills with accounting and computer
classes at Colorado Mountain College. Katrine and her family
have lived in Carbondale, Colorado for 25 years (she knows
everybody!) and she and her son Jake live nearby. Her other
three children are “out of the nest,” living
